Playing New Vegas today and the performance was awful, stuttery as hell and kept crashing. Thought the card was messing up so removed the overclock then tried again with it and the problems persist!
I then thought my crap energy saver hard drive was dying on me so tried a few things with that outside the game and it was fine. So after the usual round of cookie clearing. restarts and other checks I sit there stumped.
Two hours later it dawns on me that I had the processor underclocked from the previous night! I was on clocks like 1.9 GHz
Needless to say normal (smooth) service was restored and me and Mr. House conquered Vegas \0/ now I've nothing to play though until Wed/Thurs for GT5.
