It should say 'EUR 99,99 Prix promo: EUR 49,99'. The total will say 99.99 though until you get to the very last verification page it adds the discount.
Basket -> Select Address -> Choose Delivery Speed -> Choose Payment Option -> Final Page with-EUR 48,24 on the total then click to buy. At least it was and is for me.
