I didn't have great expectations for the cd, so I had a better time than I expected. I've always thought of the Monkeys as a single band so to see that the debut album was somewhat consistent was a surprise.
I'm having fun with Ida Maria, although "Oh My God" and "I Love You Better..." is clearly the gems of the album. I'll need to spend more time with the album to find more songs that I can attach to.
I find that her voice and attitude carry most of the album, the song writing is not the highlight of the album.
