I can't extend very much this review because my limited english. It's more like a critic than a review because is completely subjective.

Variety is unfairly underrated and it seems that Dai-hakken will be exaggeratedly overrated. I got that feeling.

My diagnosis of this album: lack of personality and cohesion. Think again. Remember the "old good times" when SR (and even TJ) made records where every single song counted. Listening to this album I noticed a certain "filler-complex" and incoherence. Many songs (too many) are impersonal, with forgettable melodies and I feel that SR's voice work isn't good enough compared with Sports, for example.

Of course, the album is ok because there are some pretty good songs, musical arrangements and ideas but... the lack of personality and cohesion is obvious.

Let's do this.

01. Tengoku e Youkoso For The Disc: DO LIKE. Yeah, that's the point.
02. Zettaichi tai Soutaichi: DO NOT LIKE... absolutely.
03. Atarashii Bunmei-kaika: DO LIKE. Let's have some fun.
04. Denki no Nai Toshi: DO LIKE... moderately.
05. Kaitei ni Sukuu Otoko: Good idea but… SO-SO.
06. Kinjirareta Asobi: DO LIKE... absolutely.
07. Dopamint! BPM103: DO LIKE... this version.
08. Osorubeki Otona-tachi: DO LIKE. Love it.
09. 21(nijuu-ichi)seiki Uchuu no Ko: DONT LIKE. Nothing special.
10. Katsute wa Otoko to Onna: DONT LIKE... booooriiiing.
11. Sora ga Natteiru: DO LIKE… in another jpop album.
12. Kaze ni Ayakatte Yuke/Ike: nice try and idea but… DONT LIKE.
13. Onna no Ko wa Dare demo: DO LIKE... in Sanmon Gossip.
14. Tengoku e Youkoso For The Tube: UNNECESSARY pseudo-bonus track.

Conclusion:
No personality in too many songs, no feeling and no cohesion in most of the album. The end is deplorable compared with Sports.
Even though, it's a good album. It has some good ideas, some good songs, some good musical arrangements and... what the... I'm a Ringo-junkie!.

Yeah, it's good, but not so good.

Score: 7/10. (Kyouiku >= Adult > Sports >> Variety >= Dai-hakken).

The podium:
  1. Kinjirareta Asobi. (track 6)
  2. Tengoku e Youkoso For The Disc. (track 1)
  3. Osorubeki Otona-tachi. (track 8)

That's all.

Thank you for your time
(reading this english grammar mess), patience and respect.
