Oh yeah.. that one is probably my favorite of her little quirks. It's probably what makes Genjitsu wo Warau stick out.

I concur.. There's a lot of people who don't like her vocals on Gamble, but I like the high-pitched squeaks. It puts some variety on what could've just been a monotone, regular note.

I also like the grittiness of her voice during the ending chorus around 4:00, like she's smoked 5 packs of cigarettes. (:

She was so deliberate with how she sang Genjitsu wo Warau, and with wonderful result. I seem to find myself noticing a new little detail with how she pronounces words each time I listen to that song.

And I agree with the gritty part of Gamble. When I think of a song that showcases every thing I love about her voice, Gamble is the first song that always comes to mind.
