I know almost nothing about anime. Of course, I've seen that one, what's it called? Ev... Evo... Eva... something like that.
But I loved FLCL. |

I've watched HEAPS of anime... and I can't deny I'm a big fan.
I tend to go for the deep and meaningful/well researched ones. 1. FLCL 2. Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu 3. Yakitate!! Japan 4. Honey and Clover 5. Full Metal Alchemist and for the sake of it... here's my top 10 6. Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind 7. Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou 8. Fruits Basket 9. Death Note 10. Initial D (Season 1) Whaaaa so many eva fans still.... Eva got me into anime/manga and it remained in my top 5 for some time but... I got over it mainly cuz the 5 minute still frames really turned me off. I still like the series tho. I must have watched the last two episodes so many times just to understand it... that I memorised the "alternate reality" sequence. >< Rei: (to shinji) you're the one who was staring at my panties! Asuka: What do you mean by that? You're the one who was flashing them y'know. Rei: de-a- who are you and why are you defending him? Are you riding his balooney pooney? Nya nyaa I remember reading somewhere on animesuki forum that the top favourite anime in Japan was Doreamon. There was a list of top 10 actually... I think Sailor moon was in there. o.O; Last edited by arutea : 2007.04.23 at 04:32 AM. |

What? Rei didn't say that o_O I think you have a bad translation... "balooney pooney" doesn't even exist in English!

Despite my limited exposure to anime/manga in general, I agree and I don't feel like less of a man for agreeing. I also enjoyed Love Hina, Azumanga, and Berserk.
