Small portion of one of one of the most important compositions of the 20th century. Sublime. |

It would be perfect if the first thing that popped in your head while listening to it wasn't domestic violence.
And the live versions are much better than the single, which played it too safe with the vocal olympics.

Yeah, haha. The starting of the song also reminds me of We Are Going To Be Friends by The White Stripes.

this doesn't count as a mp3 (not yet buuut)
CLT: Amano Tsukiko-Omohide 2 set (last live Return to Zero amongst others) man oh man, I've never followed any artist who decided to halt their work while in the prime or while I was still deeply moved by their work. News of her solo career ending came a long time ago and the shock and upset has since settled but watching her last live, although amazing to the last note, ended REALLY heavy. Watching everyone crying and hugging and knowing that is the last we will hear of her musically (for a while at least) is more than I think I can handle this early in the day. It is kind of bittersweet, included in the 4 disc set is one disc entitled "live history" which is various of her favorite live pieces performed over lives from the past few years, most of which come from the first live I ever attended. They even had the first song from that live, the first time I ever saw her in the flesh, so having it on this DVD is a special albeit sombering treat. at least she has a personal website for herself, her artwork, and her life, which she regularly updates with blogs in both Japanese and English. AND she made this release, her last, her ONLY region free DVD. AWESOME. |

It's nothing that DVD Decrypter can't fix.
Oh, whoops. I forgot you use OSX. Apple is extremely bent toward people who play by the strict rules of the industry. If you dream of doing otherwise (like ripping your own damn DVD) - you're using the wrong hardware/software. Yeah there is ripping/cracking software on Macs, but none with the flexibility of DVD Decrypter or keeping up with the latest bullshit (encryption schemes or deliberately faulty sectors) like AnyDVD HD, and there's nothing with the accuracy of Exact Audio Copy. If successful artists are so freaked out about piracy/fairuse of multimedia, they should take over the world (if they pool together their royalties they can buy an army with a few nukes) and make everyone use Macs. Or use Windows 7, which for Fair Use reasons, I won't touch with a 10-foot pole. Currently Listening To: Tool - Schism
