Just in case anyone wanted to see more in depth pictures of the Ringo File, I took these:
A full version of the dust cover -- it kinda makes the cover more bearable. A table of contents, a picture of one of the picture clusters (all the preceding pages shown are pictures) and a picture of one of the live pictures. (LOVE her with the t-shirt. And the megaphone = <3) Sorry the formatting is kinda jumbled. ^^; |

I like it better without the dust cover, the cream with gold text is a touch more classy.

I was surprised when I found out the cover photo was shot by Nobuyoshi Araki when Bingo upped it here quite some time ago. Does anybody know him here? I love his work, but I guess he had to tone himself down a lot shooting for a magazine. However it definitely would be interesting if he made Ringo photos in his trademark, borderline pornographic style...

I got them from HMV, I'm not sure if they're still available from there now though. The main reason why I ordered them is because I saw that one of them was out of stock on CDJapan... I freaked out and bought them,

HMV Japan says Ringo File is now out of stock? here I thought this was gonna be available all year?
Edit: it's back in stock now so I guess the lack of HMV Japan availability was merely temporary. Last edited by Ringo~Bingo : 2009.04.04 at 11:07 PM. |

Availability throughout the year, was what I thought Rockin'On Japan themselves was saying here. At least Amazon.co.jp still has it. If HMV Japan truly isn't underestimating the availability, then I'll probably have to jump on this sooner than I had thought. I'm very tight right now though. I already have most of the original Rockin'On Japan issues, and so the Ringo Book is a higher priority for me.

The Ringo File is a compilation of Ringo's interview and photoshoots, published by Rock On Japan magazine. It's a small 300+ pages book, with mostly text and a few pages of nice pictures. It's available at many online stores, such as Amazon, HMV, YesAsia, etc. Cost: some 2500Y
The Ringo BoOK is a special book published by Ringo's record company. It's only available through her official page's store, and I think the preorders are closed already. This book will contain lots of pictures, you can count it as more of a photobook. There's preview pictures available in this thread. Cost: 8000Y |

The Ringo File is a book sold in stores by the magazine company Rockin' On. This includes various pictures, interviews, live and album reviews published in their various magazines from 1998 to 2008. (though it's not completely comprehensive.) I hope that straightened things out for you. ^^; |
