I got my friend Angela a little more into her, though she had heard of her before. My friend Vinson as well. My Dad, it was more like a one time listen, and it was Noudouteki. He started dancing XD
On the subject of her voice: At first, I didn't like it, but then I was hooked! I find he voice is fantastic, and I don't know why others may not like it. I mean, look at all of the other great artists out there with 'untraditional voices' Neil Young, anybody? My mom's reaction to Ringo? "She sounds like a dying cat! Turn that crap off!" O! another 'untraditional' voice is Robert Plant. Still, he sounds amazing, and is too genius. Last edited by chii : 2010.01.27 at 07:24 PM. |

This was kind of a weird story.
I was getting a consultation at the oral surgeon because I need to get my wisdom teeth out soon. The nurse told me that the doctor has a wide selection of music for me to pick from to have him play during the surgery. While I would have been fine listening to some of my preferred popular music, my mom rolled her eyes and muttered that they wouldn't have my music, causing the nurse to be curious and ask me what I listen to. When I told her Japanese music, she demanded to hear some. I pulled out my phone and played some of Karisome Otome (Death Jazz). I don't really know what she thought of it, she said it was "wild" but damn was that a weird experience.

Well, my family/friends don't know anything at all about her.
Actually, they don't know the great mayority of what I use to listen, just because I always use headphones like a ritual. |
