what is the "RAT" lyric about? wasn't that a magazine she had?

the english lyrics are lame, for the most part. i thought she'd be saying them, but they feel more like rap. mentioning people and things, that's what rappers do that make their work oh so contemporary. mixing buddhism and kurt is a lame connection. ugh, i'm not happy about this.

i know, i just said kurt instead because if you read "connecting buddhism with nirvana" it would seem like i'm an idiot for saying that. as in, of course they go together. i meant the band. the only thing they have in common is the word itself, and i think that's something rappers do all the time. i can't really think of an example right now, but they make metaphors with words or people that go together in terms of the words themselves as opposed to what they represent.

and thanks pap, that makes sense now. i do like that bit of the rap where she uses the instruments, like the plugging into the marshall and stuff. it borderlines on cheesy on its own, i think, but the nirvana thing tips the scale the wrong way.
