I hate killer tune XP
Variety would be great if it was a mini album with OSCA, kaban no nakami, karada, pinnochio and kingyo no hako in its tracklist, maybe with also metro and tokai no manaa with SR on vocals obviously and yes, kingyo no hako FTW /o/

For the record, "Karada" is actually what made me ask this question.
If I had to pick five songs that I felt best represented the level of musical sophistication Tokyo Jihen had achieved by Variety (and that's both phases) "Karada" would probably be in... say, the top three for me. This being said, as far as concept and execution is concerned, Variety may very well be their most "sophisticated" album. But "Variety" + "Karada"? I'm a bit skeptical. How about a show of hands- could Variety work with "Karada"? Where would it fit in the tracklisting? |

Karada would fit perfectly right after crazy Kronekodow.
If I were doing album editing, I'd tell the band to make Vengeance and SSAW the b-sides and swap in Karada and Kaban no Nakami. It would make it a muy bueno tracklist. |

I find Karada very cringeworthy...The Spa and Treatment version is good, though...

I'll just leave it at that and add that BB Queen is one of the worst things I've ever listed to more than once.

BB Queen had a Black Sabbath vibe going on. Could've really been a heavy contender.
Ukigumo ruined his own song. lol |

It's got that garage-style sound to it. It's like Crawl but less painful, although Crawl is actually one of my favorite Kyouiku tracks. |

lol... I loooove BB Queen, especially the live version.
And I can't even bring myself to listen to Karada again... I'm a big Kaban no Nakami fan, and Pinnochio is okay. So... I dunno... I don't love either of the singles as a whole, and I definitely don't love Variety as a whole. All's I know is that I still love OSCA! |
