I actually don't like a lot of the old visuals in both releases and Ringo herself. For one, the utaite myori covers are boring to me and so is the ZCS one. It's a good thing that the SS and MM ones are so badass, though. I didn't have a much a problem with the Ringohan one just because I think she looks really pretty there but I agree that it looks really lazily done. But anyway, come on, we're just judging a cover here. Plus, it seemed like I was the only one that liked her latest jazzy performance.

I like it, too! It just makes me very worried that it is indicative of the flavor of her upcoming solo shows. I wouldn't mind the chance to see a full on mellow jazz show from her in a smaller venue, but she can't do that and huge, and RS and probably the November shows are going to be big.

Take Baishou Exstasy. Imagine the concert inside rocked. Zazen is the cover you'd get.

I like the Baishou Ecstasy cover.. it adds the modern touches to the traditional illustration in the same style as the illustration. It's much more subtle, more clever, and it overall works a lot better (than Zazen that is).

(And yeah, what is wrong with the ZCS cover? It's one of my favourites. I don't have feelings one way or the other for Utaite.. I guess I like it. It works.)

The Zazen cover works for me. It's not like this is the first time she's used this kind of imagery before. Weren't there pictures like that in the Electric Mole LE book?

I actually don't know where it's from, but it's not from TJ. Shiina has the mole.
