I don't dislike Daihakken, it's solid, but I never got into it like I did the other albums. After 4 albums I was pretty much TJ'd out, and that album didn't explore anything new for me.
I actually started with Sports; working my way backwards through their discography before Daihakken came out, with Adult being my favorite of all the albums and the one that I ended up listening to the most. I'm also in the minority that liked Variety. I found it a fun, relaxing Summer album. Plus, it has Killer Tune and that's one of their best songs. |

I did my civic duty and listened to 3 (three) Sanmon Gossip songs today. First time I listened to Ringo since early December.

Today I watched the Senkou Ecstasy Blu-ray, and Volume 4 of the Sexual Healing Blu-ray. I watched the Tsugou no ii karada video twice, actually. I am officially caught up.

I haven't listened to her for a while actually. I was REALLY starting to get burned out listening to her albums in the car (especially since for a time they were they only ones I kept in there). I was doing that almost every day because the nature of my job is driving for about 7-8 hours delivering parts to auto shops. I actually listened to Adult all the way through for the first time the other day though and was surprised at how Superstar resonated with me. I always used to hate that song but somehow it clicked with me that day. Still don't like Adult version of Toumei Ningen though.
I have to work in about a half hour so maybe I'll pop in some Shouso Strip for the road today.

Anyone tried to slow down Ringo rockers until they become ballads, or speed up the ballads until they become rockers? It's really fun.

^^^ Is that the only way Gips would get some love, maybe?

Dunno about Gips, but Absolute Vs Relative is a damn fine doom metal track!

^ this. I think the tracks I'm coming back to most as of late are the 3rd disc of ZCS. LOVE THEM. I could still listen to her first 3 solo albums, no problem still. I just don't. Going through whole albums of TJ would be a lot harder though... |

I throw on MM or SS (or her demos) anytime I'm feeling emotional. Tokyo Jihen is a little less frequent besides color bars and Killer Tune. Honestly I still listen to her pretty frequently, I'll throw her on if I'm not in the mood for anything else.
