^prices I've seen just browsing on Y!A are 16,000-25,000 yen (before deputy fees) average. God knows from a scalper...

16000-25000 yen sounds about right lol, but I guess a scalper is likely to be much more expensive?
Guess I'll have to find a Japan-residing friend to help me get it off Y!A.. Meh. |

So is anyone here going to the Kyoto concert this Sunday? I'm going, but I'll be by myself, would be nice to have a gig buddy!

She just completed her set at the Kyoto Music Expo. Here's some of what I've gathered from the people who tweeted while they were there.
Her backing band were the same as Toutaikai, minus a couple of people (no Midorin, no drums or guitars at all). It was the Saito Neko Quartet, plus the piano and accordion player from Toutaikai. Everyone wore Yukatas on stage. Here's the setlist: 1. Irohanihoheto 2. Carnation (performed by Sayuri Ishikawa, who made a surprise appearance) 3. Naute no Dorobouneko (performed by them both) 4. Saihate ga Mitai (A Sayuri song, also performed by Sayuri) 5. Marunouchi Sadistic 6. Kabukichou no Joou 7. NIPPON 8. Ariamaru Tomi All performed acoustically. One person said they started off with a few riffs of Deep Purple's Smoke on the Water. They say the set lasted around 30 minutes. |

Think I woulda been pissed that 2 songs were sung by Sayuri if I was there though... Especially when it was only 30 mins to start with...

Yeah I enjoyed the show but was kinda disappointed how short it was and that Shiina spent two songs pretty much just sitting on a chair.

^ As long as their was some other bands you wanted to see it still seems like a pretty unique set though

A couple terrible photos from the set is more like it >_>
Has she ever done an acoustic set before? I really want to hear that stripped down version of Nippon, and it would make sense if that was the version on the album. |
