I like all of Hikki's albums, but I prefer the more recent stuff to her older stuff. Though, she seems to grow with my personal tastes... like when she was still in her rnb pop stage, that's the kind of music I liked. I think she peaked with ULTRA BLUE, though it's closely followed by DEEP RIVER. I think HEART STATION was a step down for sure.. I probably even prefer Distance.
From the sound of Come Back to Me I have low expectations of This is the One. Even the title sucks. Though I shouldn't be so quick to judge... Easy Breezy was far from the best song on Exodus. CLT: Angus & Julia Stone |

Haha, so true! Even though it was the second best song on Exodus, it was miles away from Kremlin Dusk.
Muse - Thoughts of a Dying Atheist For reals, Shinji, how can you possibly call this "Muse's Adult" with songs like this, Stockholm Syndrome and Apocalypse Please? It's as good as their other works unlike Adult.

I apologize, but nothing beats nor matches Origin of Symmetry.
However, I do admit that I am puzzled by your analogy. |

Well, I like Adult =P And I like Absolution, but the problem with it is just that, only a few great tracks while the rest is pretty "mediocre" or doesn't bring anything new. I prefer listening to one of the first 2 albums than listening to Absolution, if I had to choose one. BHAR on the other hand brings a new type of sound, but in a Variety way. CLT - I think I'm going to listen to SS on the train, which I'll catch in about an hour. |

It has been 2 weeks since I started playing the songs on my iPod in alphabetical order by song title. I'm now in the D's and just over 1/6 of the way through. Looks like 10 more weeks to go...
CLT: Dog by Dada (it's the third Dada song starting with D this morning--off a great album "Puzzle" from the early 90s--anyone remember them?) |

Wow, new Utada single? Let's make bets which one is going to be the worse one XD
Neko, Passion was clearly influenced a lot by Cocteau Twins, they're one of her favorite bands anyway. Of course it doesn't sound entirely like them, but I'm always reminded of them when I hear that song. It has that hazy, ethereal aura... I think it's her best too. |

CLT: Shiina Ringo - Ringo Catalogue
Shamefully I always dismissed this track! I assumed it was a straightforward mash up of her tracks so I just never bothered with it, but it's pretty awesome! |

Vampire Weekend - Walcott
Finally gave in to their v-neck charms.
