Actually, there are tons of musicans who customary doing improvisation in their entire concert.
Certain amount of them have been playing more freely than Keith Jarret did
and categrized as "Improviser".

CLT: Keith Tippett & Andy Sheppard - 66 Shade of Lipstick

This is a kind of what I wrote, but not initially intended
just because iTune plays alphabetical order next to
Keith Jarret's Koln Concert.

About 10 years ago, I was familiar with improvisation oriented music like this website lists
http://www.japanimprov.com/index.html
and that scene involves some name likes Imahori Tsuneo or Ueno Yoko who is known for amime works from the outside world.

Bear McCreary - All Along The Watchtower

Bear McCreary is by far the best composer on TV right now. The Galactica soundtracks are superb and this version of Watchtower is brilliant! It's use throughout the last episode was superb. I got goosebumps when it kicked in.

Cornelius - Another View Point

Cornelius' videos are always amazing. Seeing him play live in perfect synchronization to them is even more amazing.

I haven't posted here in a while.

CLT - Gaby Hernandez - Morning Glow

It sounds like some other song... I can't quite figure out which.

I'm gonna listen to that next, I'm in a PJ mood.

My fav song might be the Dancer, or Rid of Me at Big Day Out.

edit - CLT - Dresden Dolls - Missed Me (Live)
