Its totally Heart Shaped Box. But at least it seems unapologetically so, and she verbally references Kurt Cobain. Most SR videos are full of, specifically Alternative, video cliches. (Yami ni Furu Ame, Koufukuron, even Tsumi to Batsu) Its a shame we never got my favorite Alternative video cliche, the "performing in a dirty warehouse with papers and crap being blown around" video.

Ringo no Uta, but it only REALLY works is if you've seen all of the PVs being referenced.

Meisai is amazing. It's like Shuji Terayama, but there are traditional Japanese theater influences. I love the color saturation and all the little cameos.

I like the Karisome Otome PV, and the Kono Yo no Kagiri PV. Ariamaru Tomi is kind of boring, kind of beautiful.

For Jihen... they don't have as good PVs.

But I really like Senkou Shojo. It's actually a really interesting PV.

Sounan. Not because it's the most impressive PV, but because the spinning thing reinforces how I listen to the song. And it has the most aesthetically pleasing Ringo =o

Meisai is the total package.

I didn't add my reason for picking Shun: fits the best with the music/simplistic and elegant/naked Ringo. Close second would be Honnou: 'Coz Nurse Ringo

My Tokyo Jihen picks.

Phase 1: Gunjou 'coz Sweaty Ringo
Phase 2: Either Atarashii for cheerleaders OR Himitsu for plain fuckin' sexy Ringo.

EDIT: I noticed a pattern here:

the Tsugou no ii karada PV:

2 PVs for Karisome Otome (for the english & japanese ver.) appeared on the Heisei Fuuzoku DVD, but both were animation videos that I found quite boring

Edit:
anyway, I found the PV for the japanese version, which is the more interesting PV imo:

Look at this man bringing the class. Sounan is great because it brings a classy brand of sexiness compared to the other TJ PVs I've seen.

Of course, I'm not really qualified for this topic as I haven't even seen half of Ringo's solo PVs.

Really? How hard did you look? Because I did a search for "music video" and this subforum and the thread I merged in here, entitled "Your favorite PV," was on the first page.
