Shocking. That was over the line and it wasn't even close.
Edit: Shocking. Absolutely no pace, England looked like a bunch of old men. Germany weren't even particularly great, England were just awful. Gutted.

That blown call just sucked the life out England. That was a terrible call by the referee. It really wasn't even a close call since it was at least a ball length over the line.
It's also really sad to see Wayne Rooney simply not show up like he does in the Premier League.

Indeed. I would have liked to use that disallowed goal as an excuse, and maybe the game would have been different, but our defense was just atrocious.

Omgoodness, I was down at Seoul City Hall when the Korea/Uruguay game was playing. It was terrible when Uruguay made the first goal. But when Korea made their goal it was the best thing ever! Everyone was just soooo happy. And everyone chanted all the louder. (and they chanted sooo much) But then Uruguay made the last goal and the whole crowd of several thousand people were basically silent. It was creepy. Saddest day ever.
Cha Duri just kept shooting for the goal though, and overshot EVERY TIME. Uruguay totally beasted them. And People kept taking pictures of us foreigners wearing Korean flags and everything. It was weird and adorable at the same time. |

The Englishmen looked old and slow. But that lost goal clearly changed the game.
Ger-Arg will be something to look forward to. |

Oh wow. FIFA's solution to blown calls is to not show replays of said calls in the stadium. Brilliant!

Well you know how that works: See no evil, speak no evil. (Until later.)
FIFA, add another official at the goal, seriously!!! I understand them wanting to keep the game that the top pros play as similar to the game poor kids play, but this is beyond ridiculous. If you're gonna refuse technology that adamantly, add another set of eyes at each goal and be done with it already. I get to see BORIS twice in August.
