This. There shouldn't have been one in the first place. She can't sing and has no obvious musical talent. If you can make a song written for you by Shiina Ringo sound bad, then you are doing it WRONG.

This whole idea of Ringo and Chiaki just does NOT sit well with me. :/

Chiaki is no different than Tomosaka Rie or Ryoko Hirosue but unlike those two her image and music imitates rock musicians rather than regular idol stuff. It comes off as fake and try hard... kind of like Taylor Momsen getting some ratty hair extensions and thinking she's Courtney Love now.

Well, the problem is she doesn't have the vocal chops to sing in that style. Momsen at least has the voice for it.

the problem with Chiaki is that she's also trying to imitate Ringo, just look at the Ketteiteki Sanpunkan video. Ringo needs to find someone better to write to, I know Ayu Hamasaki is in desperate need of good songwriters...

Momsen has a good voice AND some music talent, assuming she's the one who wrote her band's songs. Shame she's wasting it on being a collection of oversexed 90s rock cliches.
