bat for lashes - pearl's dream
part of me is still not sure about two suns. I love the album but part of me prefers the almost feral quality about fur and gold better. there is only one song on fur and gold I have to skip when I listen, most of the tracks on that album are stand outs, but with two suns I feel ambivalent about more tracks, three or so to be exact. special edition is coming out in the states in two weeks. |

This awesome song by Towa Tei and his cheekily named vocalist.

Very late to the party with YMO. Alas, I am blown the fuck away. |

Tegan & Sara - Sentimental Tune
The new album is quite good. It convinced me to spend the $30/ticket to see them in March.

Chihiro Onitsuka's new album, DOROTHY. It's totally amazing... I think I'll end up liking it better than LAS VEGAS .

Julian Casablancas - Phrazes For The Young. Really enjoying this. It's better than First Impressions of Earth.

^ Room on Fire is still the best album by The Strokes. First Impressions was good, but not great. Looking forward to Phrazes next week.
