I just loved his character. I loved his relationship with Dexter before he found out who he really was. The comical moments when he threatened him really seriously; "I'm watching you motherfucker" but Dexter just smiles and Dexter always got the better of him.

My favourite Doakes related scene was the one in season 2 where Dexter had to examine his own box with blood samples. And the moment when he found out that it was found in Doakes appartement

Yes! It's great that all these shows are starting up again, but it sucks that there is a huge gap over the summer when I have all the time in the world and then they all start up when I get back to Uni

I've just seen the first two episode of Eli Stone, and I loved it. Too funny and crazy, and it started with the perfect song:

Just seen the second Futurama movie. Wasn't nearly as good as the first one. Story was a lot worse, and there were so many simpsons-quality jokes that I even thought about turning it off after 15 minutes.

Sopranos, 6th season, on Youku.
I have two pet peeves about renting DVDs in Japan. One, it is very hard to find non-English, and especially Japanese, films with English subtitles. And two, they import many foreign television shows, but in many cases, probably due to how the sales go, they don't import all seasons. I was watching The Shield, and really getting into it, but they only have seasons 1 and 2. (Haven't searched online for this one yet.) I can rent The Sopranos 1-5, (had never seen the show!), which I have in the past few months, but they have yet to release season 6, and I don't know if they will while I am here, which is why I am watching it on one of the Chinese youtube clones. And before anybody states the obvious, my computer is waaaaay slow on dowloading movies/torrents at the moment, since I am using DSL. |

wow, that sucks, how fast is youku for you? Cause for Canada the speed sucks, takes 2-4 hours to watch a 40 min tv show.
