I dont know man, Nostalgic Jpop still has that constant brooding noise/guitar feedback that gives me the chills and Oomori sounds frail and restrained.

And no fucking way Kekeke is remotely related to SSD. Nowhere near as close as Nostalgic Jpop for sure. I mean, the fuck:

If you're gonna go on the sound... the closest thing to SSD is probably something on Paipaidekami's album OR one of the more 'upbeat' Oomori tracks I'd say.
Certainly not kekeke, a song noone would really remember after hearing it.

Everytime I watch something by Jun Togawa I'm always fucking entranced, even if I've seen it a billion times.

Well, according to a tweet, every single show of her national tour has 100% sold out (though the tour site still has a few shows with tix left right now- perhaps not updated). Pretty impressive for someone who was pretty much 'underground' just a couple of years earlier :-)

Love both of her outfits, love how in some places her vocals sound exactly the same as her solo version and other places she rocks out with Pink Tokarev, love how dramatic she is, love how the video is cut...

I'm just glad theyve managed to capture the power of the live band, yet it's still not 1:1 either. Bravo, Avex, you've surpassed my expectations, and squashed any doubts about the Pink Tokarev's translation to studio recordings.

Also glad it sounds completely different to Lai Lai Team too (a concern I had tbh)

Though I don't expect to love it like her solo releases (this said, I imagine it may be the release certain people have been waiting for), I can't wait to hear the rest of this one.

Edit: Indeed the above is the album cover, it is now on the listing on Amazon too

I'm very happy.
It doesn't have 100% the bite of the live version, but very very close.
And Omori sounds perfectly at home with studio productions.

Can't wait for the full album! And hopefully there will be Pink Tokarev shows again soon.

Not as in love with it as everyone else is, but it was good. I reserve the rest of my judgement for the full release. I think Oomori looks a bit awkward in that sort of setting.
