The group of artists you make make money off of in Korea has gotten bigger (SNSD, 2NE1, TVXQ, SHINee, 2PM, BIGBANG, f(x), etc.), but they're also branching out into Japan where the REAL money is. I really love it when ignorant teenybopper KPop fans ask, "Why do they have to go to Japan? They should stay in their home country and be awesome for us." CUZ PEOPLE DON'T MAKE SHIT IN KOREA. Music buying population is too small. It's considered a miracle if you sell over 100k albums.

Saw her perform 'The Tiger inside will eat the child' on TV at the end of Q&A last night. It was the first time I had heard her music: I thought it was very good, and made a mental note of checking her up. Hop on to Youtube today, and every click just brings on more amazing music after another (not unlike the first time I stumbled upon SR).

But seriously, Brown Eyed Girls are better than most KPop. They have great voices, they're experienced, and their album was made almost completely with real instruments, not just synth.

I'm okay with synths if they are an original sound and not trying to emulate another instrument.

Shiina Ringo - Karuki Zamen Kuri no Hana
>An absolutely perfect album to me. The production quality, layering, instrumentation, and vocals all glow with an almost divine beauty. Very lovely, and interesting, experimental pop album from one of the most talented women in Japan.
