I know everyone is probably sick of my ranting about her... But to emphasize her awesomeness, I post one of her most awesome songs. You know them songs that just stop you in your tracks? This is one of them.

The Perfume was probably from a frustrating, failed attempt to like their latest release. I will always love GAME.
No apologies about HALCALI. Everyone should occasionally indulge in some sugary confections. Their first two albums were endearing, infectious fun. Too bad that after they were picked up by Sony, the oblivious conglomerate seemingly insisted that they only release generic, bland crap. Forever delighted to have met them twice; at Kinokuniya Books NYC and backstage in Central Park, and the happy owner of a personalized, autographed copy of HALCALI Bacon. My sig from when I was a mod at HALCALI Sensation.

Mariko Goto (Midori) returns! As a guest on this Cypress Ueno song (it came out in March, but first time I've heard it). It's nothing like Midori, but I think it's really sweet/cute... Don't know anything about the rapper(s), but they work together. At least to me anyway. Now that I'm up to date with what she's doing... I'm looking forward to the new/debut solo album that is apparently in the works. I'm not too concerned about it not being punk/heavy either... I always enjoyed the sweeter parts of Midori just as much as when she went balls-out :-)
