For those interested, I been listening to the new Mariko Goto single over and over. You can watch the PV for "あたしの衝動" here

I quite like this new side to her, it's not far from the Midori sound but it is infinitely sweeter. Some may be put off by it being a bit too "kawaii" but I mean that's how she described the album anyway :-p

The Early Evening - The People

A couple of my good friends from high school. Not even close to their best tune, but it's the one they decided to make a video of for some reason.

Baroness - Green and Yellow

Not particularly enjoying this, but I haven't liked them before either. Still, I was kind of hoping I would like it more since it moves away from metal so much (not that they weren't already half in/half out, with regard to metal). Some of the guitar sounds are nice, but not enough to keep my attention.

I'll give this a shot, I'll let you know what a Baroness fan thinks of it...

Though I'm still being crushed by Sa Dingding's latest... every listen just brings out more and more awesomeness... so much detail/layering... reminds me of when I started listening to KZK, Vespertine, Feedbacker or Kid A... fantastic.

EDIT: Listened to the new Baroness... first disc was alright- though pretty bland, second disc started off promising but then the boring hammer fell on its head. Pity really.

Atashi no Shoudou sounds like "prismic-commune era YUKI". I ate that up too though- I listened to commune a lot when I got my hands on it in 2010. I digress, really like the song. I feel the rest of the album will still manage to come as a surprise to me.

I don't know how to translate it this properly but-
