Actually you're right, I think it might be that the image I have in my mind of Seiko - the one I'm comparing that blog post she did to - is more of the new Seiko and less of the old, singer-songwriter Seiko that you describe (I followed her for awhile but I really started listening to her from the Poidol album). Some of her songs do seem depressing, but she always channels that into doing a crazy stage performance so it's never come off as gloomy as it sounds. I still don't know if I make sense but it's kind of like how she admitted that she never in hell thought she would be getting married, much less having children. I couldn't help but agree.

Have actual pictures from the photo shoot come out? These are pictures from someone else that was there at the photo shoot.

Only that first one at the very top is a 'proper' promotional shot. Mainly what's online now are just these behind the scenes style ones. It's not a photo shoot, its a music video shoot.
