I really haven't dug the songs that dropped so far, so I dragged my feet waiting for the FLAC until I finally went ahead and downloaded the 320 mp3 of Amok.
EDIT: One and a half songs in and I am enjoying this much more than anticipated.

A 160 kbps leak of The Flaming Lip's new record, The Terror, is another matter entirely.

New bachata from Bimbo (who I hadn't heard of before) and Juliana, a merengue star out of the Dominican Republic (mostly merengue anyway, though I think she is a solid singer and can handle other genres):

I especially like the harmonies from about 2:09-2:45, which sound a little out of the ordinary to me (in this context), but which are very effective either way.

Kinda liking that Sakanaction song just above, though honestly I don't think I ever get past kinda liking their songs. Although this seems like a clearer expression of the sound they were going for in that song with the Mt. Fuji video, or maybe I just like it more.

Billie Holiday sounded like Billie Holiday's corpse during much of her later career (actually when most of my favorite Lad Day recordings were made).
