Oh matan-san, you torture me so. Although I shudder to imagine a Phase 2 Shuukyou.

That was also by far their best concert altogether, and probably the pinnacle of Phase 2. It was even a time when they could perform Kabuki live without the stutter ending. I don't have any hopes for a concert like that again.

I've said it before, but the start of that Virgin Line concert was the pinnacle of the band

My friends experience today at the concert, probably nothing new, just thought I'd post it:

It was absolutely fantastic! I can't find the right word to explain, actually. The set list was so good, and what excited me the most was they played some old songs with very new arrangements! Everything was perfect!!!!!

I went to the last Tokyo Tokyo Jihen show yesterday (kokusai forum). :-D
Now they have like two more shows added in Touhoku area I hear, and then there is the Kouhaku appearance as well.

Anyway it's a first for me to go to two shows in the same Jihen tour. Yesterday was great cause someone gave me one of those flags and I had a great time. The sound was, as expected, better in the kokusai forum than in the first venue. But the show on stage was nearly identical, however they all looked tired. Ukigmo and Ringo did some talk between songs but they were all stumbling on words, not really saying anything.

Its strange that the live dvd was announced and maybe even the footage is finalized, but the tour is still active. What if something cool and dysfunctional happens on stage when one of them reaches the breaking point from touring too much! Thats money right there.
