I've been reluctant to reply to this thread, because I might have a top 2nd or 3rd that stay mostly the same, but the 4th and 5th are seasonally changing, and my top 6th through 10th are bouncing around like popcorn.
Here are my current favorites: 1.) Shiina Ringo 2.) Pink Floyd 3.) Radiohead 4.) ACIDMAN 5.) Jimi Hendrix |

This thread provided some fun reading. I totally forgot about it.
Anyway, I still have 3 Luna Sea songs from this thread in my playlist. I don't skip them when they come on and I actually quite enjoy them. I still haven't persued them further though. Mostly due to laziness.

That's the way LS works... they're not a "love at first sight" type of band but more of a "how did I live my life without them" type of band. I think Tokyo Jihen is out of my list of top artists now. My current list is something like: The Observatory (best band from Singapore) Kira Neris (jazzy downtempo done right) Cibelle (samba-electronica!) Mayra Andrade (singer from Cape Verde! Amazing first album!) Try Mayra: Dimokransa, Mana (from Jools Holland!) SOIL&"PIMP"SESSIONS Urbs (downtempo) IVY (Asobi Seksu fans should check them out, they've been around really long and make similar dreamy ethereal pop tunes. And oh, Maou likes them too ) Roller Coaster (Korean electro-pop/rock) and of course SR. (no LS up there cuz I haven't listened to their music for the longest time... but I still adore them very much.)

2. Shiina Ringo 3. Brilliant Green 4. artist du jour 5. alternate artist du jour The artists du jour fluctuate greatly. Two right now may be Fool's Garden and Cocco. Then again, in about 5 minutes... |
