I happened to find out a Israeli band about 2 month ago.
Then I ordered 4 CD to amazon.co.jp.
It was sent from US and last one reached 23 days later.
Bustan Abraham __ Fanar (with Zakir Hussain 1997)

I remember that I presented Nakajima Miyuki's 7th album LP to my little sister's birthday about 30 years ago.
うらみ・ます(I have a grudge against you)

Elaine

Based on a foreign prostitute who lived same apartment with NM.
A morning, she was found a dead body in a trash.

^ I smell a copyright infrigement... oh wait, Kill Bill in itself IS the ultimate copyright infringement... nevermind. But goddamn this is one sexy cover/homage... this side of kpop needs to be pushed above f(x) for sure.

Of Monsters and Men- Skeletons (YYY Cover)

Perhaps I champion this band more than I should (afterall, they ultimately are Arcade Fire copycats- but in the best way possible). But I mean... they covered Yeah Yeah Yeah's most gorgeous song and made it even more gorgeous. Can't pass up on that!

Skeletons cover is awful. That band is like worst of Arcade Fire combined with awful fake folk band Mumford & Sons. Also, Kill Bill song is dated with it's references. Kill Bill was 10 years ago.

Chatmonchy
These girls can rock. I love it. Very garage-y, high energy. Apparently they tour the US too, so I'll be on the lookout for that.
When Yuki was good
Hard to believe Yuki used to sing actual rock music, what with her boring and cutesy output lately. Whatever happened to Higurashi Aiha (of Seagull Screaming...) anyways?
Deschanel and that other guy
Honestly, I do not like the Deschenal. However, I do like this song. It's like June Carter Cash made a 60's girl group song (and she has an undeniable juggernaut voice, perfect for country and jazz, but god stop singing terrible "indie" crap)

^ You're gonna end up old and bitter if you just hate everything that is proper nice/true-true you know... (yes, I just watch Cloud Atlas)

The worst of Arcade Fire? I find their entire discography one of the most solid of any band in any era... their worst would be something like Ready to Start.. which is still awesome....

BTW all YUKI sucks ever (give or take a couple of Judy and Mary songs). The End of Shite included. I always wanted that song to just go and die. Her pop output at least doesn't annoy me. YOU HAVE SHIINA RINGO. ACCEPT NO SUBSTITUTES.

Eh, She and Him, I don't like it either. But it's not enough to make me pissed off. That song sounds like all the other songs to me. Besides, I've never heard anyone even mention them as some "AMAZING FORWARD THINKING BAND" anyway- so there's nothing to expect (say like, me trying to figure out why Daft Punk are so adored by critics and placed higher than other similar EDM). And besides, I can't think of anything more suiting to Deschanel than Indie Pop. I mean, LOOK AT HER. She's cute as a button... to the point it's sickening!!! And Chatmonchy sounds like Indie Pop to me... or is this impossible if you're not white?

I find most of your complaints in your last post very inconsequential to the big picture. The Kill Bill references are 10 years old??? EVERYTHING KILL BILL REFERENCED IS 30 YEARS OLD!... but whats more... IT'S KPOP... EVERYTHING ABOUT IT IS 10 YEARS BEHIND AND THAT'S WHY PEOPLE FUCKING LOVE IT! You'll get over your things that tick you off one day and find one particular artist that makes all other music seem fairly meaningless. For me me its the Ringo/Togawa combination. Everything else is a bonus. Some things more of a bonus than others.
