Hmm this Bugy Craxone you mentioned seems pretty cool, thanks.
I get what you mean about the singer. She's pretty cool. My first thought was that she's like a less cunty, Japanese Joan Jett with the way she plays.

Bugy Craxone's early stuff is really good. I haven't kept up with them much after they left their label to go indie. I remember Lucy's Donuts from their first or second indie album, and I loved it when it came out.

Under Cover of Darkness

I fuckin' love this song. The other single isn't as good though.

]New PUFFY album album out today and it is really good, something I thought I would never say again. Hooray for being wrong about that!

To celebrate, here are a couple of early favorites. One by Tamio Okuda and one by Andy Sturmer.

PUFFY - Korega Watashino Ikiru Michi

PUFFY - Talalan

@SoulExperience: I love that Amel Larrieux album, however many years on. It's one that I keep dipping into for the way the tracks go deeper and deeper during their length.

Also like the nice nostalgic PUFFY polar bear song and the Angel Canales.

Tried to think of a showtune I liked. Pink Martini, please take a bow. This makes me think of a perfect Disney princess entering a perfect bridal ceremony on her perfect wedding day, surrounded by a perfect spring flowers. In a good way.

Pink Martini - Everywhere

Nice free electropop/RnB/rock download in a ton of audio formats from J*Davey. Worth it for Quicksand and Lazy Daze alone, not sure what I make of the Smells Like Teen Spirit cover, but hey.
