Because it sounds like a rather uneventful horror movie soundtrack. Don't hear any drone in the one your posted...more like Scott Walker's The Drift with those operatic vocals.

Flawless synchronicity between sound and image, in the sense that a few milliseconds gap would have the power to ruin the whole sensory experience.

MD's - Senior Power
Garage/punk/post-punk band from Puerto Rico in the 1980s, which is just discovered because someone made it easy to discover. So far my favorite is "Brain Damage," which you can hear here: http://www.reverbnation.com/TheMDsOfficial |

If I were to write songs for my favorite female artists AKB48, it would sound like this. |

I miss the breakneck speed of November/December. I got hooked on listening until tinnitus took over. All month so far, I feel like my wheels have been spinning in place.
Yesterday I listened to Number Girl's Num-Heavymetallic for the first time, front to back, and I was pretty amazed. If you only know this song as one line in Electric Mole, then it's time to hear the real deal.

^Number Girl rules!
Today I checked out And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead, and they have an album called Source Tags & Codes released in 2002, the same year Num-Heavymetallic was released, and the two albums have a similar sound. For the longest time, I thought they were metal or sth...
