Sounan PV is excellent. Understated and classy, cool camera movements, I've certainly never seen anything like that before. But OSCA? Urm... whatever.

I agree, with the sounan part anyway. I love that video because of how they spin the camera around them and mix them all together, its very interesting. OSCA is not mind-blowing, but it was fun and I think it went well with the song.

Average song, Average video.
The dancers got too much focus, I need more Shiina in my MVs. Everything felt a little akward, not a optimal blend of 'controlled chaos' but rather just 'manic chaos.' And I don't think the song is "Shiina" average, I think it's standard industry 'average'. I just hope the other two songs redeem the single. |

Well, I have to say that the song is not my favorite, but as always Shiina Ringo's voice really makes the difference for me. Listen to a band like "The High and Mighty Color" with such a banal vocalist, and compare to Shiina Ringo. The intensity and presence of her voice make it a million times better.
And about the video, is there a similarity to "The Handmaid's Tale"? Police state, SR in white, the dancers are the handmaids in dressed in red... ? |

I showed OSCA to my friend who never listened to any japanese song, and she was amazed by the song. She said it was good.

Doesn't sound like talking to me, just faster singing...
And I somehow think, that the other two songs on this single have a completely different sound, althought I can't say why I believe this.

What? If it was just faster singing then I wouldn't say it was almost like "talking" because that would not make sense.
