Hm ok
Good to know ahah. Twin Peaks is awesome, even tho he didn't do most of the episodes But the last one is pure gold, he did what had to be done. And the movie is very good as well. Lynch fanboy here, btw. The only 2 I don't particulary like is Wild at Heart and Straight Story, altough I think the acting is great in both of them. Let's see... How to get back on topic. First japanese album I bought was Ultra Blue by Hikaru Utada. First japanese concert dvd was Utada United 2006. |

That's the case with the majority of shows. I can't think of many if any major shows, outside of comedy, where the creator writes and directs every single episode. They still usually have creative input every step of the way, and they still essentially created the show, all of it's characters and the main story arc.

Yeah, directing TV isn't necessarily like directing movies (tho, as I say this, it was probly similar for a show like Twin Peaks) but the "Producer" has the real creative control. He obviously set the style the other directors followed and probly planned each ep if he didn't write it necessarily.

Yeah, Lynch did that. But starting with the 2nd season, he started to become displeased with the show, due to the executive producers or something, and it's visible because the quality and themes decrease in value. And then he comes back in full power to end all that mess.

One of Stanley Kubrick's favorite films was Lynch's Eraserhead. Both of those guys rule in my book.
And if you don't agree, I just have one word to say. Silencio! ^_~ |

I actually had the soundtrack to Eraserhead on cassette tape back in the day. It was basically a bunch of static and machine noises with the radiator woman's song somewhere in the middle.
