Yeah I think one of my favorite parts of the song is how her voice changes so drastically (but smoothly!) from one part to the next. I would honestly probably think it was 2 different people if I wasn't familiar with her.

What about My Foolish Heart? That wasn't too long back...

^ I think he's talking about her tonal quality, in which case, I think he's right. It sounds strikingly SS-era for like a split era, which surprised me, too. I feel like I've not heard that kind of tone from her in years.

So, unlike any of the other Ringo related vinyl I've bought, this one does not come with a proper factory seal, just a plastic sleeve (not even resealable like the Variety analog), much like Boris LPs. For collectors who wanted to "keep it sealed" this may be a bit of a letdown... For me it means I don't feel anywhere near as bad/guilty giving it a spin haha. Pretty sure it's a different master from the CD too, its a lot more dynamic sounding. At least to my ears.
Edit: APPLE complete credit list: Written and Arranged: Towa Tei Vocals: Ringo Bass: Wataru Iga Guitars: suGar Yoshinaga Vocal Arrangement: Ringo Additional Arrangement and Programming: Ayumi Obinata Keyboard and Drum Programming: Towa Tei

I like this song but the Engrish really ruins it. "You must to know" "Who the hell is an apple" ugh......

I thought the 'who the hell was an apple' was a bit of wordplay...
A:"My favourite musician has to be Apple Sheena." B: "Who the hell is an apple?" mixed with some self-reflective philosophical message stuff |

Engrish is weird considering Ringo seems to speak it reasonably well enough. Like, it must sound wrong to her, like if I said "Watashi wa Shiina Ringo wo suki" or something...

Who says Ringo has good English? I thought her English lyrics were usually written/translated by someone else... This new one obviously wasn't though, the English seems too basic and Yoda like.

But isn't that Ringo is just singing this?
