Listening to it 'for free on a legal service' does not necessarily boost my ego up. I consider it another middleman ripping the artists off.

convenience is a big part of it for me, especially with Apple Music. Being able to download an album from a huge library directly to my phone before I go out and being able to listen to it whenever I want for a monthly fee is one of these services I didn't know I wanted until I couldn't do without it.

I'm not sure I full understand why she's on Spotify in the UK and not anywhere else.

Have a niggling suspicion this won't be available within Asia since there's still a high propensity for her asian fans to buy physical copies of her music.

The only reason having her on Spotify would be a bonus for me is because transferring music from iTunes to my iPhone is a JANK ASS RIDICULOUS job!

Every so often I will encounter the problem of 'dead' tracks, i.e. tracks that appear on my iPhone library, but are greyed out, but still hog space and cannot be played. And the only way to resolve that is to use a 3rd party file explorer and delete ALL of my music (because removing them on iTunes doesn't actually delete them from my phone, but just turns them into 'other' file formats that iTunes doesn't pick up). And then painstakingly add music back small batch by small batch -- add too much at one go, and some tracks get greyed out again.

I want to believe that it's an old phone problem but alas it's been happening for both my 5s and my 6. Le sigh.

She's written a song for Ko Shibasaki, out November 25. It's going to be the new theme song for Kasouken no Onna.

Fingers crossed the song is nice and intimate, Ringo's not written anything simple and gorgeous in a long time.
