Koufukuron (Etsuraku Hen 悦楽編) crossed with Karisome would be a weird listen .
I'm ecstatic about this album. Couldn't concentrate on anything else all day. Last edited by so_cold : 2009.04.17 at 11:44 AM. |

And they're including "Maruno" from Ringo EXPO, as well as "Yokyou" that was performed during Ringo EXPO. Go check you're Ringo EXPO DVD tracklist and see if it mentions any "DEATH JAZZ ver.". It doesn't. Yet, what version do they play during the show? Bingo! "DEAH JAZZ ver.". And brace yourself: without Soil & "Pimp" Sessions. What has science done, right? Is it too wild to guess that it could happen in this album as well? I mean, I'm not gonna force my deduction over solid proof that comes from a description in a e-store, because that's mainly where every "solid proof" comes from. But I have a point and it's not imaginary. |

yeah, I get that part. but jihad, even you admit your knee jerk reaction to be positive this time. sure, we have all been conditioned to be let down and for six years every time, starting with jihen, then up to HF, we have been led astray. so I think we are right to be skeptical in many regards. but we can't question the facts just because we don't like them. I am kind of glad it is on the album because it gives me something to rock out to for two months to get amped for the release. karisome otome was always one of my favorites. it kind of contains almost everything that makes ringo ringo in a short compact form for a new era. the crazy vocals, the archaic and double entendre filled lyrics, the blending of musical styles, the chaotic vibe to the whole project, and a general sleaze hanging over the whole thing despite how it is never actually quite reducing itself to sleaze. its like pornography as art. love it.

Of course I'm kidding but you have to admit that it would be awesome if she put it on there. I can just picture there being this song in the middle of the album with an epic climax like Kuki or Tsumi to Batsu. After it's over you're like "Wow, that was really amazing!" and then Mikan no Kawa comes on, COMPLETELY taking you out of it, and then ends as soon as it begins leaving you going "...?" Shiina's like "LOL I TROLL U"

I'm not worried about the quality of the album at all.

I'm very optimist about this new stuff °3°
remember when SR said she wrote over 9000 songs in the HF era?(actually over 20 or less...) maybe, this new stuff includes those songs... and.... maybe... they'll have the hatsukoi shoujo quality /o/

What I've read on wikipedia about HF (no citations though, and the Engrish article is a condensed version of the Japanese one if I remember correctly) - if I understood it properly - at first she wasn't planning a full-out orchestra album, but something more electronic, probably entirely something among the lines of Yokushitsu or Hatsukoi Shoujo. Maybe that's what we're getting this time?
And I'm sort of happy for neko's "bitch return" because lately it seems like it's wrong to like anything post-TJ Phase 1. I agree with what he's said in his post. |

and even with Death Jazz, true, I can't help but be actually excited about this album. Even in the face of Drama single, lame b-side title, kids song, Expo Marusadi, and Death Jazz. But christ Death Jazz is horrendous.

I don't hate death Jazz...I just didn't expect or particularly want to see it on a new album...
I mean...does anyone here actually want to see the words Jazz and Shiina Ringo put together ever again???

I was going through the mixi.jp topics about this new album and oh gosh they are so crazy about this release and all those heart and happy-face emoticons already tell more than the kanjis
And I didn't see a single complaint of Marunochi being on the album, more like "And yay marunochi is there! I'm so happy" <------ |
