Ha-ha.
edit: I can't even hear whether she's singing in English or Japanese from my first listen. 空が鳴っている 女の子は誰でも 天国へようこそ ドーパミント! 新しい文明開化 All the titles are in same length this time? Last edited by ChickShhh : 2011.05.09 at 07:51 AM. |

Maybe this is one of those situations where a song taken out of (the album) context diminishes it's intended effect. But then again if that's the case, what does it say about some of the band's post Sports releases. Not much.
Aside from Sora ga Natteiru and Tengoku e Youkoso it feels like these guys are making caricatures of songs that I might like... My honest reaction, is something like "what? Am I supposed to laugh now. This is a joke right"

New song sounds like Scott Pilgrim. That automatically makes it better than all the other Discovery songs released so far.

Yes, the cm singer is Shiina Ringo.
I can spot an apple anywhere, anytime... Nobody nose-sings and have perfect english articulation in Japan like Shiina Ringo. I'm pretty psyched about any new releases. Just wondering how the songs going to turn out =D I need more jazzy tunes even though its pseudo-jazz. Electric guitar noise just isn't my thing. =/ |

新しい文明開化 = New Westernization
(文明開化 originally refers to the Westernization undertaken by Japan during the Meiji era) Also~ providing a source with news like this would be great!! A source I found: http://www.hotexpress.co.jp/news/110509_tokyojihen/ 大発見 means "breakthrough" or "great discovery." I'm going to romanize it Dai-hakken, and probably translate it using the second definition to go with the tour name. |
