I've been playing catch up with some of the releases I've missed/have just busted out from the western world- some quick thoughts on some of them:

Interpol- El Pintor- Interpol are a band I like but never really love. This album is the same deal.

Earth- Primitive and Deadly- Loving it on first impressions, interesting to hear vocals on this thing

Karen O- Crush Songs- Lo-fi, raw, deeply personal. Better than the last two YYYs without any doubt. Rekindled the fire for Karen O a little. More like this please!

First Aid Kit- Stay Gold- The Lions Roar was great. This, well, is OK. Still pretty music, just not much sticking out from the marshmallow surface. An easy listen, perhaps too easy.

Hey guys, does anyone have any idea what happened to the Wakusei Abnormal full length that was listed on Amazon, CDJapan etc? It's gone and I can't find ANYTHING about it now.

Maybe I'm going fucking crazy.

It's like Yasuha Kominami's Chimera listing all over again...
