Also makes me wonder: where is my 24/96 MoRA-fied Sanmon Gossip dammit? These sound great!

Ohhhh man the ringing is STILL on the Neko half of Ringohan... Sheesh.

The second half though, the sound quality is fantastic.

In other news, just saw Ringos Music Station performance of the Nakata track. No perfume but the usual backup dancers. She was donning a Sports era Jihen costume. There is too much Jihen referencing for my comfort right now... And as mentioned earlier, it would have been their 10th anniversary next year...

I was actually thinking that it makes sense for Tokyo Jihen to be the house band for the 15th anniversary shows, given the smaller size of the venue and their familiarity with a lot of the songs already.

I would guess there's not going to be a huge Saito Neko orchestra given the size of the venue this time around and the 5 seperate shows... probably a smaller string ensemble/big band for those segments, but that's not going to be the whole concert.

This is the most bluntly tongue in cheek I've ever seen her... I dare say this is some form of parody performance. Im enjoying all these weird new developments of late (though, totally over the song already).

^ I'm a bit iffy about this performance, not so much because of the TJ references but more because of the fact that she lip-synched it. it seems like Nakata got a weird policy of not letting his compositions to be sung live without lip-synch or something :\

anyway, this song and It Was You are still my favorites on Ukina as both exemplifies the musical directions I wish Ringo would explore more

Usually the band is prerecorded and syncing live, not the singers, being Carnation one of the most awkward ones because it's a whole orchestra fake playing.

I can't watch more than 15 seconds of that live performance. It's disappointing to see Shiina disrespect herself by lip synching like that.
