Movie villains, need your help
In my directing workshop class, we re-make two, two-character, scenes from movies per semester. For my second scene, I really want to do one with a bad guy. Like a really psycho, mean, evil person (think The Dark Knight.) The problem is I'm having trouble dialing in on just the right scene where my villain gives me something I like, but the other character also says more than one word sentences, and also I apparently have very few movies in my library with overtly evil, dangerous villains.
So if you guys could help me out naming movies with the kind of character I'm looking for, it would be very appreciated

I don't remember particular scenes or lines, but you can check Natural Born Killers, Blue Velvet or Se7en for some "good" evil characters. Not the super-hero movie type, but evil characters nonetheless. I remember those movies have some tense moments and are well written, altough I can't point you a specific part from memory...

No Country For Old Men - Anton and the Gas Station Guy
There's also the final scene from There Will Be Blood between Daniel and Eli, if you could take that line seriously.

Oldboy - Lee Woo-jin; particularly his final scenes.

^ I had that one in mind, but it was probably a bit too obvious.
Ever thought of going a different route with a villain that's not too over the top? Maybe a family drama and an abusive family member?

The best villain in my book is Hannibal Lecter, though I'm not sure if he fits your description. Still, the dialogues between Foster and Hopkins are unforgettable.

Does it have to be from a movie or can I make an Ukigumo joke in here?
