At first (when Variety first came out) I saw it as the 'joke' song of the album, but as time went on I grew to love it! it's simply a great little tune and my favourite track on the album! Shisekatsu used to be my favourite, but it got weak after multiple replays and fell by the wayside, Kronekodow has always sounded good to me so I think it has more staying power than you would initially think.

the release of the Zazen preview just reminded me how bleh are all the songs not name OSCA.

Doesn't TJ hate the album? Why would he impose such an endeavor on us?

We have to pass the time somehow.

Shiseikatsu, like Pinnochio, became much better live. Uki's solo is so much more alive than its Superstar-sounding brother on the album.

I don't listen to Variety a great deal but really love the live versions of many of the songs on it. JCHI Mirrorball and loads of stuff from Spa and Treatment, Ramp, Fukushuu and Pinocchio (shit that was a single) to name but a few.

Tokyo Jihen are such a kick arse live band it's untrue.

The only album versions of songs off Variety I actually listen to are OSCA and Killer Tune.

Variety has at very least been a hotly contested album where no one can get along as to which songs are good/bad, let alone the album! So I'm interested in seeing if there is any concensus.

Difficulty: Osca and KT are ineligible.

public poll!! No cheating, please choose only 3!

No Osca and Killertune is like no Sounan and Gunjobiyori in Koyuku vote.

Anyway I voted for SSAW, Boutomin, Metro. It would be Killertune, Metro, SSAW if there were Osca and Killertune in the poll.

Aww, finally SSAW has some votes :'>
The second place is now tied between Fukushuu and Kingyo no Hako... And I don't really know which one is better than the other :x
Metro at third place is also a surprise and it's not long until it becomes 2nd. That would be neat, I like Metro.

Exactly. I think it defeats the purpose to say "which ONE album song is your favorite" since many would choose the two singles. I don't care that alot of people like the singles, I know they do. It's more interesting to see how everyone ranks the rest of the album.

Try as I might, I can't pick a 3rd song on Variety that I can actually listen to.
I shall nominate song #3 to be Kaban no Nakami.
