Mon Laferte - Chilean female singer
I just recently discovered this chilean singer Mon Laferte, and I'm completely in love. She is absolutely dramatic, sometimes leaning to a more latino sound, but always flawless.

Surprisingly, the whole thing works well! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IP2doZrBl0Y Highly recommended! Last edited by Migoto : 2018.11.27 at 02:46 PM. |

Thanks for sharing!! I love seeing Spanish speaking rock music. However much I love the Spanish speaking dance music and like Shakira that we get here, I know it’s a poor representation of what’s actually out there.

Is it just me or she sounds like Bjork sometimes?
Also, the japanese songs gives me serious meiko kaji/carmen maki vibes I love the Chilean rock/indie scene right now, I have a Chilean friend who often sends me good stuff on whatsapp XD

That japanese song sounds very kayokyoku/enka! Even the spoken verse in the middle! |
