I'm so afraid of losing van Persie against Japan :\
The Denmark game was incredibly close, I love the Danish and they could've won the game just as well, if not for the own goal. Luck was on our side there, deserved to win and did.
Japan will be an easier game probably.

North Koreans were very impressing to me against Brazil. :O
Biggest surprises to me were Spain losing to Switzerland and the Germans putting up the best performance of the tournament.

Why Do We Call It Soccer?

Ultimately, the version adopted as standard in the United Kingdom came to be known as association football, while another set of rules won out in the United States. Thus the Americans took to calling their gridiron variety football, and referred to the British sport by the slang term soccer, derived from the soc in association.

Very tough path on Germany/England/Argentina/Mexico side!

I hate hate hate hate hate the fact that Germany and Argentina are on the same side of the bracket. It's gonna be dejavu 2006 again when one of these two brilliant teams would be eliminated in the quarter finals; of course, I'm assuming that England and Mexico don't make it past the round of 16... which should be a fairly safe assumption (sorry English & Mexican fans!).

I so badly want Ghana to kick USA out of the World Cup.
And S Korea needs to win! But it's gonna be tough against Uruguay who've been playing quite well... hmm.
