It's just that one of his lyrics (RED...[em]) could SO be about her and a failed relationship, haha!
Ah, well, that's cute too.

So they are still going to perform in Music Station next February 18th. That might probably be the moment of truth.

L'Arc~en~Ciel is a much more "produced" band than Tokyo Jihen will ever be. But I'm not sure if that counts in Japan. Inoue Yousui had a huge popularity drop due to a marijuana incident. And I'm not sure if he'd have stayed afloat if he hadn't been one of the founders of his label...

But all we're dealing with in this case is some heavy drinking, right? C'mon, every salaryman in Japan drinks like crazy. It's good that they don't approve of such behaviour, but breaking up a band like Tokyo Jihen because of it? Hope it doesn't happen.

Good for Hata, I suppose, but now everything's cleared up we're (I'm) left with four TJ songs from the last 6+ months (plus Chiaki's) that I didn't enjoy. There's nothing for me to look forward to for this album. I am filled with emptiness.

I'm glad things seem to get better for him, but I wouldn't say the issue's over, at least till their next public appearance. Maybe it's too cautious of me, but I'm still a bit worried about how the public will react to this situation and how it will actually affect not only the future sales of SR-related releases, but primarily TJ's reputation and public image.

we are the public reaction.

and most of us dont care if he got drunk. most imbibers get drunk and crazy at some point. I've seen drunk rowdy japanese people before at restaurants, so the public shouldnt throw any stones at Hata for this.

...well maybe breaking the window of someones house is the serious issue at hand. alcohol brings out a side of people that is seldom seen. the rest of the band had to have seen a drunk Hata many times before. i mean, the guy is already doing cartwheels and kung fu when he's sober!

That's true. Imagine if this were like the Edison Chen photo scandal, and the whole band were implicated.

Imagine it..................................................
