I liked that moment when, after listening to Tsumi to Batsu and thinking "these guitars, now that I think of them, they remind me a bit of... Kenichi Asai", I checked out the credits.
I can't think of a better arrangement and performance for this song. EXPO version is great for its own merits, but these raw and honest guitars... this is it. |

The original SS-era Tsumi to Batsu definitely has more badassitude than the James Bond versions with Saito Neko. This was what got me into Asai Kenichi to begin with, and it wasn't the last song he and Shiina Ringo ever worked together on.

Maybe it's my new headphones, but Shouso Strip is sounding very new and fresh to me lately. Especially Gips. I used to hate it, but now I can really appreciate it's production. I just listened listened to some Oasis for the first time, and I can totally hear the influence (whether or not it was on purpose...)
