I think Belle and Sebastian are about to release something absolutely brilliant with their new album (at least for me). This and The Party Line are both really great songs, with a lot of replay value. I recommend listening to them without the videos after though, because the videos, while interesting, are so interesting that they distract from the value of the tracks.

Re: Belle and Sebastian
I didn't know they were releasing a new album! I really like it, thanks for posting.

I have never consciously listened to any Belle and Sebastian before, but if this is representative of their output, I'm not going to bother listening to anything else by them. Just didn't click for me.
I had never listened to any SNSD before today, (and seriously, it's fucking KPop and I have a constant queue of 5-10 things that are purportedly excellent and worthy of close attention), but I clicked on a PV of Gee today and immediately thought "this is a flavor of bubblegum that I really like". So there's no accounting for taste. And I've loved this song for 25 years, but undoubtedly at least a few people here will think it sucks. Whatever.

Oh, don't give up on Belle and Sebastian that quickly! I'd hate to think you're missing out on them because of the impression a new song gave you.
Try one of their 'classics' first:
@FadedSun: That track IS really amazing! Also, them new Madonna songs (the six that have been officially released- haven't listened to the leaked demos) are surprisingly good! Rebel Heart may turn out to be the best album since Confessions on a Dance Floor. I hope so, the last one was a disaster. Gang Bang anyone? Blegh.

I like God Help the Girl, which is like Belle and Sebastian without Murdoch's awful voice.

...is what I'm listening to right now (Yuu's Ten no Mikaku). For a long time I ignored it cause I just assumed it would sound like GO!GO!7188- who I kinda like but mainly just think 'eh' about. Turns out I was wrong, it sounds like a competitor album to KZK (it came right off the backend of the release of that, and it would be a bit weird to ignore the Ringo influence throughout it). But it's not bad- it's actually really good. I'm sure those Ringo fans who haven't heard it already would be pretty happy with it.
