Sigh HK movies. Used to be so good. Now almost everything is an utter disappointment.
i remember watching the longest nite and thinking that there wasn't one likable person in that movie, just bleak...

Hk movies just like Hk music, probably 1 or 2 watchable (listenable) work every year. But there are gems once in a while.

List of favorite WKW movies, in order:
1. CK express
1. Ashes of time
1. Fallen angels
2. everything else

I'm watching Judy Nails rawk out to Dead! by My Chemical Romance. Yes, I understand I lose some street cred by liking an MCR song.

"Some" street cred??? You underestimate just how uncool MCR actually is...

I do admit, however, to blasting 'Helena' in my room on several occasions...

Dead! is actually the only MCR song I've ever heard and I only heard it because it's in Guitar Hero II for the 360. I've heard that their third album is actually good, but the second album is the biggest pile of shat in the world.

Watching the Cavs play the Nets.

I download two Japanese shows off of bittorrent, Hey! Hey! Hey! Music Champ, and Ainori. I learned about SR on Hey! x3. It was a quick clip in the top 100 countdown on the Christmas 2002(?) special. Unfortunately, I've never seen her as a guest. I heard somewhere that artists from certain companies will never be on, I hope this is not the case. The hosts Matsumoto and Hamada chan are pretty funny, I would love to see them interview SR.

Ainori is a really cute Japanese reality show, where 7 cast members ride a pink "love wagon" visiting countries around the world. The premise of the show is that they are trying to find love, and if they confess their love to another member, they go home... with or without the object of their affection.

I suppose my intent in watching these shows is as a learning aid. But I'm rarely motivated to study lately (and I have a long way to go), so I just end up watching. Very important are Japanese subtitles, so I can at least attempt to translate. Ainori has an international fan base, and there is a good blog out there that does a weekly synopsis of each episode in English... but I'm not sure about the rules about plugging other sites (no, it's not mine). So, do a google search if you care.

And I used to be an ATHF fan, but lately the episodes have not been that great (moonajuana was, though). After the Friday Night Fix banned Macs I mostly gave up. (I don't get cable TV so screw you too, Adult Swim). I hope the movie is good.

Dear Maou,
Tell Lebron not to touch the ball in the last seconds with the game on the line.

EDIT: The best part about MCR is that the guy looks soo much like a young Billy Corgan, yet has all the "coolness" of the current, middle-aged Billy Corgan.

Sure thing, Jihad. I'll let LB know that passing to Andy or Donyell is a much better option. We really needed to trade for Sam Cassell.
