Here it is. The song begins at 24:27. Masayuki Hiizumi on keyboards and Ukigumo on guitar.

Shit, that was amazing. Can't wait to see more songs from the new album live.

Carnation is the best performance in this though....

I actually really love this arrangement of Carnation. If the studio version sounded like this I'd probably like it a lot more. The orchestrated arrangement sounds a bit cheesy to me, especially with a song with subject matter that's already kinda soppy to begin with.

You know what would have made Sunny better?

Having the Carnation bsides instead of NIPPON and Jiyuu. The second bside makes a great album closer too.

Actually, I might do that from now on.

The NIPPON bside also would've improved Sunny...

But I like Jiyuu, although with the glaring exception of that nu-metal riff it starts and ends with. That riff is more of a blight on the album than the autotune or anything else IMO..

Watashi no aisuru hito was a FANTASTIC song and yes, right up there with the best on SUNNY. They should have included that over Carnation

I hope she brings HZM, Nagoshi and that other non-Ukigumo guitarist on tour. Nippon and Carnation would have sucked with only one guitarist.

Here's actually how I've been listening to Sunny:

The great thing about SR as an artist, though, is that even with a dud like Sunny she's fickle enough to release multiple arrangements for many of her songs. I'm really anticipating her supporting tour - only 4 more days now!

PS anyone else noticed SR's vocals are quickly approaching Chara status? (Not that I mind - I like Chara)
