thank you guys~~~
and I think you should retitl the threads to not cause confusion. Related artist doesn't necessarily mean the same thing as Jihen Member, because related, as I did in this case, can be taken to mean similar artists. Sticking this thread in Off-Topic is kind of bizarre, it will eventually get drowned out in some other thread, so maybe the threads should be expanded and we should re-title or make a new thread for similar artists |

Parade of last year is easily their worst album, but has that bad ass track スカ on it which is worth the album by itself. IMHO it's better than any track off 569.

Wow, be careful. Make sure you check out these tracks from 569 really closely. Rockstar ni natta nara Manhole and Sannin no Boogie man. Especially the last two. Kinda off swing/rock n roll. I love them. It's totally new stuff to Go!Go!7188 and they nailed it! Just my suggestion anyway. I think Ska kicked big fat ass too.

^ Yeah, I agree. I think 569 had some really good tracks. I really like Rockstar too, but my favorites were from the single, Manatsu no Dance Hall. It has such a cool, smooth sound to it.

Same here.
But this is so far (listened a few times only) the weakest album for me. But i tought more or less about Parade (best song in here : Fat na kare -Akiko moves so well in this live ) at the first times so let's give it more trys... Anyway this is overall a really great band, probably one of the best japanese rock band i know. Did anyone checked Yumi's solo album, Ten no mikaku ? It's really something. (far more interesting than her other side project IMHO) |

kuro_neko, my fav album is ryuuzetsuran followed by 569.. well if u like something darkish u should really try ryuuzetsuran. 569 is like hm more rock.. much more rock than the previous album, PARADE. Well, just DONT try to judge the band by their first album... IMO it sucks @_@

I've listened to the album twice now and I really don't hear anything that I really like. On songs like Manatsu no Dance Hall the band sounds as if they're just coasting and rehashing material.

I love Tennomikaku. It seemed like Yuu was aiming for a KZK style here, but in a Yuu way. I liked how each track has its own distinct character, yet the whole album has a unified sound. It's definitely worth a listen.
